Marketing Director EMEA, Consumer Electronics
The scope will include PR and communications, influencer strategies, optimizing content, channel (online & store level), and digital advertising/performance media (paid search, paid social, shopping, display, and Amazon advertising) as well as partnerships/collaborations that help raise brand awareness and drive forward the company's mission.
● Create and own the European marketing strategy with a specific emphasis on German, France, UK, Nordics, Italy and Spain ● Determine the marketing mix to drive and optimize revenue as well as expanding new user acquisition – top of funnel through bottom of funnel ● Develop and manage the marketing budget by country, reporting regularly on ROAS, CVR and spend ● Hire and work with local agencies to manage and track media plans, PR and influencer initiatives ● Work closely with the global growth, brand, product teams and the International Marketing manager to launch new products and campaigns to ensure global brand consistency ● Work with local country managers on partnerships to elevate the brand and increase penetration ● Drive marketing research to ensure content, messaging and positioning is optimized for local consumers
● Strong communication skills, ability to drive strategy as well as creative ability to ensure execution at a country level ● Ability to both analyze digital trends and drive consumer feedback as well as execute against it and take actionable steps ● Strong understanding of online sales and marketing channels ● Proven success in leveraging marketing to drive revenue as well as increasing brand awareness
● >8-10 years of marketing experience in Europe, with a focus on brand communication, user acquisition, media management (either agency or in-house) – preferably in the hardware, health tech, baby tech industry or consumer electronics
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Communications or related field is preferred.
Fluent English, additional languages are a plus.
