Senior Account Manager GIS Germany

Our client is expanding their business in Germany and looking for a Senior Account Manager to sell their unique geo content and web services. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for generating new customers and following up on leads created by the marketing activities. You have an excellent sense for business opportunities and know how to effectively introduce and sell our products to prospects in and out of your network. With your drive, sales skills and your experience in IT and/or geospatial environment, you effectively execute the sales cycle from prospect to order.
• New customer acquisition • Follow up on leads created by marketing activities • Support of existing customers • Preparation of proposals and tender processing • Management of complete sales process from 1st call until contract has been closed • Development of contact network • Review and analysis of the market and competition
• Ability to work independently, while engaging within the international sales team • Self-starter, goal & result-oriented, with high energy, and ability to close deals • Very good communication skills, both spoken and written • Good MS Office knowledge and CRM experience • Utilities and Telco experience preferred
• 8+ years of sales experience • Background in Information Technology, preferably in a geospatial environment such as GPS, GIS, mapping, surveying, geodesy or navigation
Bachelor's Degree in Technology Systems or Business
Native German, Fluent English
